Overview #
The Policy Interval is a component of the
DirXML-Policies attribute and determines both the placement of the policy within the Driver and the order within the
DirXML PolicySets
The DirXML-Policies attribute implements the Typed Name Syntax which is a Component Syntax and consists of the following components:
- DN component - is the DN of an entry (the policy object),
- interval component or Policy Interval - a numerical representation of each of the possible Policy Set Interval Values
- level component or Policy Level - the ordering of the various linked policies in the policy set defined in the Policy Interval
