Overview#

These are items we need to make sure are inplace be for we install Edirectory on a machine.

Any items that are not right, need ot be resolved before installing Edirectory.

• Does ndsuser exist
• Does ndsgroup exist
• Is ndsuser a member of ndsgroup
• Is ndsuser set for a default shell of /bin/bash
• Is /var/nds on a mount point
• Is /var/nds on the SAN
• Is there enough Free Disk space for backups
