Overview#

Preallocatecache is a setting in the eDirectory _ndsdb.ini file that determines if eDirectory to pre allocate the amount of memory specified by the hard cache limit

Avaliable in eDirectory versions 8.7.3.6 and later.

Preallocatecache Values #

• true - This setting causes eDirectory's FLAIM to preallocate the hard cache limit for FLAIM Cache is permanently allocated from the host Operating System and maintained by the FLAIM memory allocator.
• false - The hard cache limit for FLAIM Cache is NOT preallocated.
