Overview#

Preimage Resistance is an expected property of a Cryptographic Hash Function that given a Message-Digest (hash) that using the Computational Hardness Assumption it is NOT realistic to determine the input Message.

Preimage Resistance implies that the Hash Function is NOT invertible and it is a One-Way Hash Function (OWHF)
