United States Public Law are Enacted bills and joint resolutions appear on this list after NARA assigns public law (PL) numbers. PL numbers link to slip law texts after they have been published by GPO which is an actual bill, as passed by United States Congress and signed (or vetoed, if the veto was overridden) by the President of the United States of America.
