Public Wi-Fi (open Wi-Fi) is a Wi-Fi network that is a Untrusted network.!! Security Considerations LDAPWiki advice MUST NOT connect to open Wi-Fi unless you are using a VPN (Virtual Private Network). It’s too easy for Attackers to trick you and gain access to your device. Just never do it if you want to stay secure.The massive flaw discovered in WPA2, the encryption standard that secures all modern Wi-Fi networks.The biggest threats with Public Wi-Fi is the ability for Attackers to position themselves between you and the Access Point as a Man-In-The-Middle.
