The Rich Site Summary (or RSS) is a format pioneered by Netscape to describe the contents of a web page. It was later adopted for a multitude of applications (such as WebLogs and other news feeds). It was considerably enhanced by DaveWiner from [Userland Software|http://www.userland.com], and later on extended into an [RDF] version by the RSS-DEV working group. !Links * [RSS 1.0 specification|http://web.resource.org/rss/1.0/] * [RSS feed for this Wiki|http://www.willeke.com:8080/wikildap/wikildap.rdf]
