Sequenced Packet Exchange (SPX) is a connection-based, Reliable protocol, sequenced OSI-Model Transport Layer protocol which requires IPX.Sequenced Packet Exchange was part of the NetWare Core Protocol

which provides:

• guaranteed packet delivery - ensuring that packets are received in order by the destination endpoint
