Overview#

Simple Web Discovery (SWD) defines an HTTPS GET based Discovery Mechanism the location of a given type of service for a given Digital Subject starting only with a domain name.

Users, domains, principals use common identifier formats:

• Email-style identifiers - user@domain.com
• URL-style identifiers - http://domain.com/user
• Services use URI identifiers - http://openid.net/specs/connect/1.0/issuer

Then Constructs a well-known URL from the above.

Return is a JSON object, list of URLs.
