Software as a Service is a Cloud Services Model that uses provides an Application where the Cloud Service Provider is typically responsible for all aspects of the hosting of the applications.

With Software as a Service there is no concern for the Infrastructure or Platforms upon which the application would require for operation.

Most Software as a Service applications can typically be run directly from a web browser without any downloads or installations required, although some require plugins.
