The [Sync and Ignore Publisher Filter] 

The [Sync and Ignore Publisher Filter] is applied to any event that comes from the Connected Application and is used to filter out any events from from the Connected Application that are of interest to the implementation of the driver.

Only events that are __NOT__ filtered out of the [Sync and Ignore Publisher Filter] are allowed to reach the [Post-filter Association Processor] and therefore any other part of the [Publisher Channel]
