Tracking Area Code (
TAC) is a
3GPP fixed length (of 2 octets) internationally
Unique Identifier for a
Tracking Area within the
Public Land Mobile Network (
PLMN).Tracking Area Code tracking area identification shall be coded using a full
hexadecimal representation. The
hexadecimal values 0000 and FFFE are reserved.
