Overview#
Universal Terrestrial Radio Access Network (UTRAN) is a collective term for the network and equipment that connects Mobile Device to the Public Switched Telephone Network (PSTN) or the Internet.E-UTRAN is the air interface in an LTE Mobile Network. Officially, E-UTRAN governs the Base Station Controller, while E-UTRA (without the "N") defines the Mobile Device side. E-UTRAN uses the OFDMA modulation method for the downlink and SC-FDMA for the uplink.More Information#
