A Verifier (Victor) is an entity that must be convinced that the prover (Peggy) knows some facts.A Verifier performs Verification by validation of some facts!! zero-knowledge proof A Verifier (Victor) is an entity that must be convinced that the prover (Peggy) knows some facts without revealing ANY information about these facts.

Password Validator#

A Verifier is an entity that verifies the Claims Assertion by verifying the Claimant’s possession and control of a token using an Authentication Method.

To do this, the Verifier may also need to validate credentials that link the token and Digital Identity and check their status. (NIST.SP.800-63)
