Overview #
Attributes flagged DSAOperation should be used for attribute types that store operational data that should be stored only in one server and should NOT be replicated throughout the directory environment.
A usage of directoryOperation, distributedOperation, or DSAOperation indicates that attributes of this type represent operational and/or administrative information. That is, they are Operational Attributes. (RFC 4512)
