Drivers Privacy Protection Act (DPPA) U.S.C. Title 18 Code § 2721 titled Prohibition on release and use of certain personal information from US State motor vehicle records.

Drivers Privacy Protection Act, which was enacted in 1994, allows US States Department of Motor Vehicle to peddle a driver’s information to these organizations without the need for their direct consent.
